On October 24, an intellectual competition titled "Exploring Heydar Aliyev's Legacy" was conducted at the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) in commemoration of "Heydar Aliyev Year".

During the opening of the competition, Associate Professor Ata Babayev, the Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs at ASOIU, noted that a series of contests, intellectual games, and scientific conferences dedicated to the National Leader had been conducted at the university as part of "Heydar Aliyev Year." He emphasized the importance of the "Exploring Heydar Aliyev's Legacy" intellectual competition for young people and extended his best wishes to the participants.

Following this, Associate Professor Aydin Aliyev, the Dean of the Faculty of Power Engineering, and Namig Ganjayev, the Chairman of the Student Trade Union Committee, stressed the significance of such intellectual competitions in effectively organizing young people's leisure time. They also highlighted the special importance of the intellectual contest held among the youth on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Great Leader and extended their best wishes to the participants.

In the intellectual competition, which involved 5 teams comprising first-year students from the Faculty of Power Engineering, and featured questions related to Heydar Aliyev's legacy, held under competitive conditions, the "Xarıbülbül" team secured first place. The other teams, "Dəmir yumruq," and "Zəfər," were awarded second and third place, respectively.

The winning teams were subsequently awarded.
