On November 26, within the framework of the "Visiting Professor" project, Orhan Hajiyev, Field Manager of #ChampionX Azerbaijan, conducted a seminar for students at the Department of Petrochemical Technology and Industrial Ecology of the Chemical Technology Faculty (CTF) at the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU). During Orhan Hajiyev's presentation, students specializing in Ecological Engineering learned about the neutralization of H2S during processing in the oil and gas industry. The presentation, delivered in English, covered the causes of hydrogen sulfide occurrence during processes, the damages it causes, and methods of combating it based on real practical experiences. Following the lecture, a knowledge competition on the topic was held, and winners were determined.
