On December 23rd, a meeting with the cast of "Vətəndaş A" series was held at Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU), organized by the Student Trade Union Committee (STUC) and initiated by the Faculty of Chemical Technology.
Namig Ganjayev, Chairman of ASOIU's Student Trade Union Committee, delivered the opening remarks, emphasizing the vital importance of such cultural meetings in enriching students' extracurricular experiences. He highlighted how these interactions serve to broaden young people's perspectives and foster greater appreciation for cultural and creative endeavors.
Series producer Sevinj Aliyeva provided insights into both the series and its source material. She explained that the series, adapted from Jafar Jabbarli's renowned play “Almaz,” offers a contemporary interpretation of enduring themes including social justice, women's rights in society, and civic engagement.
The event featured an engaging interactive session where students had the opportunity to learn about the production process, including behind-the-scenes details about the actors' creative improvisations and memorable moments during filming.
The meeting concluded with the ASOIU Student Trade Union Committee presenting a certificate of appreciation to the production team, recognizing their contribution to students' cultural enrichment.
