Starting from February 1, the E-submission service will be applied at the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University. With the functioning of the e-admission office on the official website of ASOIU, the application of students and staff, in general, electronic registration of citizens at the reception of the university administration will be realized.
Elnur Safarli, Director of Information Technology Department of ASOIU noted that thanks to this innovation, everyone can register easily without any loss of time: "The biggest advantage of this section is that it is comfortable for people. If in the past, during the weekend, it was necessary to go to any department and register at the reception, it will now be possible for the citizen to apply from home. In this section, there is a registration place for application of vice-rectors, department directors, as well as heads of the various department "
Saying that the section will operate in 3 languages, E.Safarli explained the terms of admission for electronic reception: "Along with the citizens of Azerbaijan, foreigners can also apply to electronic reception. Everyone must write a serial number of his / her ID card at the place indicated for registration. We have done it so that applicants can also see their past requests. Later, it is necessary to fill other gaps indicated on the blank. It is important to note the reason for the application on the message section at the end of the page. Because it could be possible that the application of citizen does not belong to the authority of a person to whom he or she applied for. Meantime, IT department staff will give direction.
After the approval of the registration, we will send all requests to the appropriate departments and clarify the reception hours. In the end, we send the date and time of the admission to each applicant who made an electronic appeal".
Noting that the electronic reception unit operates 7 days 24 hours, E.Safarli underlined that the audience of faculty deans will be added to the electronic reception section.

In recent years, the application of electronic services at the university is carried out in accordance with the instructions given by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, for the work in the direction of electronicization of services in government agencies.
Notably, since 2016 the application of the "Electronic University" (Unibook) management system has been started at ASOIU.
