On March 7 Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) held an event on the occasion of the 8 March International Women’s Day.

ASOIU Rector, Professor Mustafa Babanli extended congratulations to the female employees on the International Women’s Day and conveyed his wishes to them. Speaking about the role of the woman in the society as a mother, the rector M. Babanli noted that the modern Azerbaijani woman distinguishes with high moral and ethical values, hold a high position in society and social sphere. Also, the rector M. Babanli provided information on the history of March 8 as a holiday in the world.

Later, the holiday presents were given to a group of female employees and students of ASOIU.
