BP vise president holds training for ASOIU students

On March 13, BP vice president for Operations Elkhan Mammadov visited the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University in order to provide training for students at the university. Before meeting with the students, rector of ASOIU, professor Mustafa Babanli met with the guest, emphasized the importance of holding such meetings and trainings with students. BP Vice President for Operations Elkhan Mammadov noted that he is pleased to be at ASOIU that he graduated. Later, the guests visited AzII E-book house. Here new editions that were included to Book House, as well as books that presented by BP company to the university were demonstrated to them, informed that students are willingly using these books. The guests expressed their satisfaction on operating of AzII E-Book House with the application of digital and innovative technologies that meet the modern standards and noted that they will contribute the provision of necessary literature for the university in the future. At the end, BP vice president for Operations Elkhan Mammadov held the training for students.  

The subject of the training held within the framework of the  "Series of lectures on BP's business activity" was "Technology, modernization and transformation in the oil and gas sector." The training that was held in the English language was attended by the students and teachers of the "Geological Exploration", "Oil and Gas Production", "Chemical Technology" and other faculties. During the training, students were provided with the comprehensive information on the application and development of the latest technologies used in the world's largest oil and gas deposits and a video clip was presented. At the same time, vice-president Elkhan Mammadov spoke about BP's future activity, the company's mission in order to improve the oil and gas sector in line with world standards and fundamental transformation. In addition, students were provided information with interesting information on the newest technological equipment currently applied in the oil and gas fields for pure energy supply. Students attended the training received the answers to their questions related to the topic.  In an interactive training, BP vice president for Operations Elkhan Mammadov gave advice to the students to work in the oil and gas industry and to be successful.
