The XIV Republic Universiade of students of higher education institutions, which was launched in on March 1, continues. Students of the Azerbaijan State Oil and industry University (ASOIU) also attend various sports competitions.

ASOIU's basketball team successfully performed at the competition. Our students defeated the Azerbaijan State Economic University team with a score of 49-35 and ranked the first place.

The Universiade competitions will end in October.
