The next meeting of the Academic Board was held at the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) on May 1

Rector of ASOIU, professor Mustafa Babanli first provided information about the issues on the agenda.

Assistant of the department "General and Applied Mathematics" Elviz Ismayilov made a report on the work of the Student Scientific Society.

The director of  Industrial Enterprises Staff Development and Retraining Instituteç Associate Professor Hamlet Huseynov provided information about the internship of the academic staff and the organization of improvement of professional skills.

At the meeting of the Academic Board, the report made by Elchin Hussein, Director of the Scientific-Research Institute of Automation of Control Processes of ASOIU was heard.

Then the dean of the faculty of Chemical Technology, professor Sevinj Mammadkhanova made an annual report.

The meeting featured a discussion on the approval of the dissertation topics and advisors of the doctoral students and dissertants enrolled to doctorate, improvement of academic load intended for the scientific and academic management of master theses, calculation of entrance points for the state exams on second higher education, organization of scientific-research and scientific-pedagogical internships in the II course of the master's degree, application of innovation processes in ASOIU and other issues.
