ASOIU holds event in connection with admission to SABAH groups

On May 14 a meeting with first-year students in connection with the admission to SABAH groups for the 2019-2020 academic year was held at Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU). The meeting was attended by the ASOIU Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs, Associate Professor Ata Babayev, Head of the Executive Committee of SABAH groups Shahin Seyidzade, Head of ASOIU’s SABAH groups Narmina Aliyeva, academic staff of the university, as well as ASOIU and Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University students.

Opening the event, ASOIU Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs, Associate Professor Babayev spoke about the importance of the role that plays SABAH groups in improving the quality of training.

Head of the SABAH Executive Committee Shahin Seyidzade provided comprehensive information to the students on SABAH groups, spoke about selection and admission rules, scholarship requirements, education offers and other advantages. Saying that SABAH groups had their first graduates in 2017, S.Seyidzade highlighted that out of 721 graduates, 37% and 16% were admitted to Master’s degree at foreign universities, respectively, while 30% were provided with permanent jobs. S. Seyidzade noted that students admitted to SABAH groups will have the opportunity to receive a high-quality education, as well as will possess a number of financial concessions such as additional scholarships, free accommodation in the dormitory, and nutrition.

ADNSU SABAH qruplarının rəhbəri Nərminə Əliyeva universitetin SABAH mərkəzi haqqında məlumat verib, hazırda ali məktəbdə 7 ixtisas üzrə 374 nəfər tələbənin SABAH qruplarında təhsilini davam etdirdiyini qeyd edib.

Tədbirdə SABAH qruplarının fəaliyyəti haqqında videoçarx nümayiş olunub.
