On May 22, Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) held an awareness-raising event organized by the AIDS (Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome) Center of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

At the event, the AIDS Center staff held Human Immunodeficiency Virus Infection lab testing for students and they were provided with the awareness-raising information on fighting AIDS.

The campaign aims at detecting the disease, as well as raising the awareness of the population of HIV/AIDS, promoting a healthy and safe way of living. 

Notably, the event took place within the framework of the “European HIV testing week” on May 17-24.
