The next "Seeds for the Future" project of "Huawei-Azerbaijan" company was presented to students at Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU).
At the presentation the students of the faculty of Information Technologies and Control were provided with the information on “Seeds for the Future” project.
It was noted that, the main objective of the project is to increase the interest in the ICT industry and to enhance the youth’s knowledge in the field. Within the framework of the project the students will be introduced to the culture of China in Beijing and will gain wide experience on ICT.
Later a dialogue was held between the representatives of Huawei-Azerbaijan and students in English. Students demonstrated their knowledge on ICT and also language skills. At the end, the comprehensive information was provided on admission requirements and the stages of the selection process of the program.
Notably, within the framework of the program “Seeds for the Future” implemented with the joint partnership of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies and Huawei. The best 10 students with ICT knowledge are sent to China for 2 week to participate in the training. According to the program the best students who study on technical specialties and interested in telecommunication in more than 200 universities around the world are undertake a training in the headquarter of "Huawei" company, in China. The training program includes conducting theoretical and practical trainings in information and communication technologies in Shenzhen, the study of Chinese language and culture in Beijing. The teaching course ends with the examination and after that the students are given certificates.
