The Fundamental library representatives of Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University took part in the exchange of experience on “Electronic resources”, “Full-text databases” of electronic libraries, “Electronic cataloging” and other topics held at the Azerbaijan University of Languages Information Resource Complex, Baku American Center.
At the center, ASOIU staff was informed about “Folklore center of Turkic-speaking states – Turkic world”, “Electronic cataloging”, “Building the electronic full-text databases”, “Electronic acquisition”, British Center and other topics.
In addition, the Fundamental Library representatives were provided with information on American history, science, culture, cultural heritage and promotion of Turkic-speaking states, preparation of electronic full-text databases, building and cataloging of databases of other scientific publications, delivery of information to the recipient, British science, history, and library.
At the meeting, the Complex Director Shahla Khudiyeva offered their services to the library staff, university professors and students for participation in “American English Webinar Series”, “Career building workshops”, “Psychology” and other educational programs.
