Rector of Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) Professor Mustafa Babanli met on May 4 with the representatives of the University of Strasbourg (Unistra).

Head of Mathematics and Computer Sciences Department and UFAZ Coordinator at the University of Strasbourg Pierre Collet, Unistra’s Head of the property and real estate department Daniel Jolivalt, Unistra’s engineer Louis Kappa, UFAZ Director Vazeh Asgarov and UFAZ General Secretary Charlotte Payen attended the meeting.  

Talking about the ongoing construction works at the new building of the French-Azerbaijani University (UFAZ) which will operate from the new academic year, Rector M. Babanli discussed certain technical issues with the French parties.

Pierre Collet and M. Babanli held negotiations on student admission process for UFAZ for the next academic year, students’ intake for Master’s degree in the future, establishment of laboratories at UFAZ and other topics.

Louis Kappa and Rector Mustafa Babanli examined the drawing of laboratories which will be created at ASOIU’s 3rd building designated for UFAZ. L. Kappa noted that they will try to build the laboratories at the same level as the ones at the University of Strasbourg.
