Operating in over 100 countries worldwide, one of the global experts in energy management, “Schneider Electric” gave to “Electrical Engineering” department of Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) Premset 6-15kV compact modular switchgear.  First among its parallels, the switchgear features a shielded solid insulation system (2SIS). This system is supplied with a load switch, monitoring devices, current and voltage transformers.

The safest and most reliable in its class, the switchgear is also supplied with a modular intelligent electronic device which simultaneously fulfills functions such as measurement, automatic control, diagnostics, and monitoring.

Integration of Premset 6-15kV compact modular switchgear into the teaching process will play an exceptional role in the real formation of students’ exploitation habits and skills on the most modern unit used at energy system substations.

It is noteworthy that the formal cooperation between ASOIU and “Schneider Electric” was established in April 2017.
