Functioning as of 2016, UFAZ has sent its 40 students over 18 and with the highest academic results for 2016/2017 academic year, to attend the first UFAZ Summer School at the University of Strasbourg, jointly organized by UFAZ and the University of Strasbourg.

During the summer school in France which will last from the 2nd until the 16th of July, students will have intensive French language courses, as well as some visits and lessons in the scientific laboratories of the University of Strasbourg. Moreover, they will take part in various cultural activities. Some of them include the discovery of the city of Strasbourg and its cathedral, visits to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, historical museums, and other cultural excursions.
