The Oil, Gas and Petrochemisty Forum took place on September 5-8 in the Republic of Tatarstan on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of “Nizhnekamskneftekhim” Public Joint-Stock Company. The Forum was attended by Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan A.A. Karimov, President of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs A.N. Shokhin, President of the Union of Oil & Gas Producers of Russia G.I. Shmal and other statesmen, heads of state and private enterprises. At the Forum, which involved representatives from 34 cities of Russia, including several foreign companies, Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) was represented by Professor Alakbar Hasanov, Head of “Petrochemical Technology and Industrial Ecology” Department. Within the framework of the event, A. Hasanov held meetings with heads of many enterprises and discussed the collaboration opportunities between ASOIU and those companies. In addition, Alakbar Hasanov met with Azat Bikmurzin, General Director of “Nizhnekamskneftekhim” PJSC, providing him with detailed information on ASOIU and its achievements. Azat Bikmurzin thanked the ASOIU representative for participation in the forum, saying he is interested in the development of cooperation between ASOIU and the PJSC chaired by him.
