On October 31, 10th and 11th-grade students of the Gymnasium of Foreign Languages named after Sattar Bahlulzadeh visited the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) on an excursion.
The excursion started at ASOIU's Mineralogy Museum, where the students visited the museum and acquainted themselves with various preserved minerals. The museum's director, Associate Professor Aghamehdi Aghayev, provided detailed information to the students about the names of the minerals, their chemical compositions, and the locations where they are found.
Later, the students visited the History Museum and got familiar with historical exhibits related to the university. Associate Professor Ata Babayev, Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs at ASOIU, welcomed the students and provided comprehensive information about the university's history, its various historical periods of activity, distinguished alumni, the specialties taught, and more.
During the excursion, the students became acquainted with the Heydar Aliyev Lecture hall, learning about the rich heritage of the National Leader.
Subsequently, they visited the university's laboratories and paid a visit to the Memorial Complex dedicated to the university's martyr graduates.
