On December 8, an information session was held at Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) regarding the "Technoxian - World Robot Championship," which will be held for the first time in Azerbaijan.
During the meeting, Professor Latafat Gardashova, the Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs at ASOIU, spoke about the importance of the competition in developing scientific and technical knowledge, as well as robotics and digital skills for young people interested in these fields.
Rahman Rasulzade, the founder and mentor of the Azerbaijan Robotics Engineering Academy (AREA), discussed the efforts made to attract young people interested in this field to the competition for the first time in Azerbaijan. He provided information about the rules, projects, and preparations for the competition, inviting young people to actively participate and represent our country on the international stage.
It is noted that the final stage of the "Technoxian - World Robot Championship" in Azerbaijan is planned to take place in May 2024. The winning teams earn the right to represent our country and the educational institution on the international stage. The final stage of the competition is scheduled to be held in Delhi, India, in 2024.
At the end of the meeting, questions from students were answered.
It is worth mentioning that in the academic year 2023-2024, with the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, the competition will be organized for the first time in Azerbaijan by the Azerbaijan Robotics Engineering Academy.
