On September 22 Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) held a meeting with the freshmen of the Faculty of Power Engineering. The meeting was attended by Chairman of the Student Trade Union Committee (STUC) Namig Ganjayev, Dean of the Faculty of Power Engineering Associate Professor, Candidate of Technical Sciences Zakir Hasanov and students.

STUC Chairman N. Ganjayev congratulated the students for being admitted to the university and provided comprehensive information on the activities of the Committee. He said that STUC is the only organization which brings together the young people and emphasized its significance in terms of defending the students’ rights. He also talked about available conditions and clubs that help the students to spend their leisure time productively and participate in the social activities of the university. N. Ganjayev informed the meeting participants about “Ganjlik” song and dance ensemble, “Magnat” intellectual club, “Club of funny and resourceful people” (KVN), as well as “ASOIU Debate club” and sports club. N. Ganjayev invited the new students to be active in the social life of the university.  

At the end of the event, the students received answers to their questions.
