On December 18, the Acting Rector of Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU), Associate Professor Vazeh Asgarov, met with students awarded the "Heydar Aliyev Scholarship."

Associate Professor Vazeh Asgarov congratulated the scholarship recipients and wished them success in their future endeavors. Emphasizing that the awarding of such a prestigious scholarship to six students of ASOIU within the framework of the 100th anniversary of the Great Leader is not only significant for the young individuals but also a great achievement for the university Associate Professor Vazeh Asgarov, stated that all of this is a manifestation of the high attention given by the head of state to youth and education.

The students awarded the scholarship stated that they will strive to justify the great trust placed in them by the state and shared their future plans.

It is worth noting that the "Heydar Aliyev Scholarship" was established for 100 students who have achieved high success in education at the undergraduate level, based on the relevant decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The scholarship, amounting to 3000 manats, is a one-time payment from the state budget. Six students from ASOIU- Laman Aliyeva, Aslan Kazimov, Bayram Aliyev, Hikmat Nurushov, Banovsha Abdiyeva, and Firuza Maharramova - were awarded the "Heydar Aliyev Scholarship."
