On December 26, Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) hosted an event in celebration of the World Azerbaijanis Solidarity Day and the onset of the New Year.

The event, which began with the performance of the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan, featured a speech by ASOIU's Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Associate Professor Gasim Mammadov. Speaking about the high-quality educational opportunities at ASOIU, the vice-rector wished everyone success in the upcoming New Year.

MP Elshad Mirbashiroglu delivered a speech during the festive event, highlighting the successful activities of engineering professionals educated at ASOIU, particularly their contributions to various production sectors, including successful developments in the oil sector. Congratulating the students and the university's faculty on the occasion of the World Azerbaijanis Solidarity Day and the New Year, the guest wished the youth success in the coming year.

After the official part of the event, there was a concert program featuring the performance of ASOIU's "Ganjlik" Song and Dance Ensemble, as well as renowned young musicians.
