On April 9, a presentation of the "ASOIU and UFAZ Green World Ambassadors" program took place at Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU).

Acting Rector of ASOIU, Associate Professor Vazeh Asgarov, greeted the participants and emphasized the importance of hosting COP29 in Azerbaijan this year and declaring 2024 as the "Green World Solidarity Year." He discussed the initiatives and activities undertaken in Azerbaijan related to the declaration of the "Green World Solidarity Year."

Associate Professor Vazeh Asgarov emphasized that the "ASOIU and UFAZ Green World Ambassador" program will be implemented at a high level as part of the "Green University" initiative, highlighting ASOIU's active involvement in important projects resulting from this responsibility. Several significant events are planned in this regard.
