On May 3, a delegation led by Academician Vagif Farzaliyev, the Director of the Institute of Chemistry of Additives named after Academician Ali Guliyev, met with the academic staff at Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU). The meeting focused on discussing the complex scientific-technical work titled "Organization of creation and production of special purpose lubricants" presented by the Institute of Chemistry of Additives and the Experimental-Industrial Plant.
The complex scientific-technical work authored by Academician Vagif Farzaliyev, Professor Hagigat Javadova, Professor Afsun Sujayev, PhD in Economics Vasif Abbasov, and PhD in Chemistry Sahavat Rustamov received keen interest from ASOIU's professorial team. The Director of the Institute of Chemistry of Additives named after Academician Ali Guliyev, Academician Vagif Farzaliyev, reminded participants of the close collaboration between the institute he leads and ASOIU, providing information about the activities, scientific results, and international relations of the Institute of Chemistry of Additives. Following this, Academician Vagif Farzaliyev delivered a presentation on the complex scientific-technical work, highlighting that the scientific work was dedicated to the creation and production of high-quality, competitive special-purpose lubricants for military equipment aimed at enhancing our country's defence capabilities and reducing dependence on foreign countries in strategic materials. It was emphasized that the complex scientific-technical work titled " Organization of creation and production of special purpose lubricants" aims to meet the demand for lubricants used in diesel engines of all branded tanks under the order of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan, reducing dependency on foreign countries in the field of strategic speciality lubricants, and considering the export of created lubricants to some foreign countries.
During the presentation, detailed information was provided to participants about the quality, advantages, composition, and processing of the product.
The Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs of ASOIU, Professor Latafat Gardashova, welcomed the guests at the university, acknowledged the importance of the scientific-technical work, and expressed gratitude to the authors for the comprehensive and clear presentation.
After a detailed exchange of ideas related to the topic, participants' questions were answered.
