On May 7, a festival celebrating the artistic creativity of high school students in honour of the 101st anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev took place. To mark this occasion, a concert program was organized at the Heydar Aliyev Palace.

The event was attended by government officials, heads of higher education institutions, students, including the Acting Rector of Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU), Associate Professor Vazeh Asgarov, university staff and students.

The concert featured performances by amateur groups specializing in various art genres, including singers, dancers, artistic readers, and musicians from clubs and creative studios. The musical pieces presented by ASOIU's song and dance ensemble "Ganjlik" and individual performances by our students were well-received by the festival participants.

It is important to highlight that the annual festival aims to instil national patriotism, promote respect for our culture, art, and traditions among students, and foster the discovery and development of their artistic talents.
