As part of the "Green World Solidarity Year," an open lesson on "Utilization of Oil Refinery Gases" was conducted by Associate Professor Gulshan Mustafayeva from the Department of Industrial Safety and Labor Protection for students of the Faculty of Chemical Technology (FCT) at Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU).

The lesson was attended by Professor Sakit Rasulov, Head of the Department of Industrial Safety and Labor Protection, Lecturer Irada Ahmadova, and Deputy Deans of the Faculty of Oil and Gas Extraction, Hijran Babayeva and Zivar Farzalizada.

During the interactive lesson, students actively participated, asking questions about various aspects of climate change. The lesson also included a group discussion on the use of renewable energy sources and possible measures to reduce the impact of global warming.

It is worth noting that the selection of this topic within the framework of COP29 and the "Green World Solidarity Year" aims to prepare students for participation in global climate initiatives, inform them about current global and national trends in climate policy, and develop their responsible attitude towards the environment.
