Graduates awarded for successful completion of the “Code For Future” project at ASOIU

On June 28, a graduation ceremony for the “Code For Future” project was held at the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU).

The event began with the playing of the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan, followed by a minute of silence in memory of the national leader Heydar Aliyev and the heroic martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.

Vazeh Asgarov, the Acting Rector of ASOIU, spoke about the importance of the project in developing various skills among the youth. He congratulated the graduates who successfully completed the program and wished them success in their future endeavours.

Nazrin Aliyeva, the head of the “Code For Future” project, provided information about the results of the academic year, discussing the statistics of the two semesters and the activities carried out within the project.

Subsequently, two graduates of the project presented information about their own projects.

Finally, certificates were awarded to the graduates who completed the project with high achievements.

It should be noted that the “Code For Future” project has been conducting training sessions for senior students in higher education institutions since 2021. The project is organized for third and fourth-year students majoring in IT fields at our university. The main goal of the project is to prepare junior-level specialists. This year, 225 students graduated from the project.
