On June 28, Associate Professor Vazeh Asgarov, the Acting Rector of the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU), met with students selected for the summer school organized under the dual diploma program with Warwick University in the UK. During the meeting, Associate Professor Vazeh Asgarov emphasized the significance of the summer school in developing students' knowledge and skills within the framework of the dual diploma program. He expressed hope that the program would contribute to meeting the country's need for human resources with modern competencies in the revitalized energy sources sector. Discussions also covered topics such as students' safe travel, integration of Azerbaijani students studying at Warwick University into the community, and other relevant issues.
It is noteworthy that as part of the program, 38 master's students and 2 administrative staff members will participate in the Warwick University Summer School from June 30 to August 4 in Coventry, UK.
The 33-day summer school will include modules on "Energy Systems Integration" and "UK Renewable Energy Sector" taught by a team of international professors from WMG. Additionally, during the summer school, students will visit leading renewable energy zones in the UK, including areas for solar panel fields and wind turbine exploitation. They will engage with sector-related companies to obtain the latest information on trends in the real sector, gaining a comprehensive perspective on new challenges and prospects.
The session concluded with answering questions from the students regarding the program.
