Rector of Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) Professor Mustafa Babanli met on October 5 with Vladimir Onishenko, Rector of Poltava National Technical University named after Yuri Kondratyuk, Ukraine.
The meeting featured discussions on cooperation directions and perspectives between the universities, as well as joint training of specialists, student exchange and other topics.
Rector of ASOIU Professor M. Babanli provided comprehensive information on the university’s teaching methods, specializations, international cooperation, foreign students and the Azerbaijani-French University (UFAZ). Saying that there are always a lot of students from Ukraine among international students of ASOIU, Rector, Professor M. Babanli expressed his intention to continue the collaboration in student mobility and emphasized the significance of implementing joint projects.
Rector of Poltava National Technical University named after Yuri Kondratyuk Vladimir Onishenko said they cooperate with many European countries, highlighting their interest in collaboration with ASOIU as well. V. Onishenko noted that each student should experience different cultures and teaching methods, and spoke about the qualities that Ukrainian students could acquire from ASOIU.
V. Onishenko informed about the university that he represents, noting that they are ready for all types of cooperation.
At the end of the meeting, the sides signed a cooperation agreement.
