On July 4, the "SABAH Graduate – 2024" ceremony was held at the Heydar Aliyev Center.
The ceremony was attended by Farah Aliyeva, Head of the Department of Humanitarian Policy, Diaspora, Multiculturalism and Religious Issues of the Presidential Administration, Emin Amrullayev, Minister of Science and Education, heads of state and private institutions, university rectors, teachers, and students.
First, participants viewed an exhibition showcasing the achievements of "SABAH" graduates.
The event began with a moment of silence in memory of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the liberation of our lands, followed by the playing of the National Anthem.
In his speech, Emin Amrullayev, Minister of Science and Education highlighted the achievements of the "SABAH" groups.
This was followed by a video presentation on the successful graduates of "SABAH."
The ceremony included the traditional symbolic handover of the "SABAH" key from the current graduates to the graduates of the following year.
Later, graduates with high achievements were awarded.
Acting Rector of ASOIU, Associate Professor Vazeh Asgarov, presented certificates to two honorary graduates from ASOIU's SABAH groups: Laman Mirza gizi Aliyeva (Oil and Gas Engineering) and Aytac Yusif gizi Abdullayeva (Artificial Intelligence).
After the award ceremony, a video titled "SABAH Groups – 2024" was shown.
The event concluded with the playing of the "SABAH" groups' anthem and a commemorative photo session.
It should be noted that during the 2023-2024 academic year, 727 bachelor’s students from 10 higher education institutions across 31 specialties, and 339 master’s students from 8 specialties graduated from the SABAH groups. ASOIU's SABAH groups graduated 167 bachelor’s students and 19 master’s students.
