On September 10, the Acting Rector of Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU), Associate Professor Vazeh Asgarov, met with Professor Joao Amaro Matos and Vice-Rector Julia Seixas from Portugal's Nova University Lisbon.

During the meeting, which focused on exploring cooperation opportunities between the two universities, Associate Professor Vazeh Asgarov provided the guests with detailed information about ASOIU's history, educational process, academic exchange programs, and international relations.

The guests shared general information about their institution, discussing its academic and scientific achievements, participation in rankings, and technical resources.

The meeting continued with discussions on the exchange of students and faculty members. The possibility of implementing joint dual-degree programs in relevant fields, as well as other bilateral cooperation opportunities, was also explored.
