The AzII e-Book House at Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) has obtained access to the integrated search system "EBSCO Discovery Service" through coordination with the Azerbaijani Library Information Consortium (Az. KIK), a member of the International Consortium EIFL.net (Electronic Information for Libraries). Academic staff, young researchers, and readers of the AzII e-Book House, along with members of 12 other universities that are part of Az.KIK, will have access to this system, which is hosted at Baku State University (BSU).
“EBSCO Discovery Service” is a comprehensive, integrated search system that allows users to search for articles and bibliographic information from external publications, providing electronic access to the full texts of documents with licensed access (purchased, subscribed resources, and resources provided by external suppliers for trial use). This system, with over 3.7 billion bibliographic records, features the largest global index. It indexes hundreds of open-access resource packages from various suppliers, publishers, and platforms, offering unrestricted access to university users. This access enables researchers, faculty members, and students to work with vast global scientific information sources.
The system operates in a "single search window" mode, and users can access it via the following link: http://elibrary.bsu.edu.az/?link=ebscosearch
Through this search window, users can access both EBSCO resources and open-access scientific resources worldwide, with free download options. To log in, the university username and password are required.
