A series of meetings have been held at Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) with first-year students who have just been admitted to the university.

Acting Rector of ASOIU, Associate Professor Vazeh Asgarov, congratulated the students on their admission and wished them success in their academic journey. He highlighted the educational environment and opportunities at ASOIU, which plays a key role in training highly qualified professionals for the country's industry and economy. Associate Professor Vazeh Asgarov encouraged the students to be active during their studies and to make the most of the educational opportunities the university offers.

The deans of the respective faculties—Associate Professor Namad Pashayev, Dean of the Geological Exploration Faculty; Professor Sevinj Mammadkhanova, Dean of the Chemical Technology Faculty; Associate Professor Aydin Aliyev, Dean of the Faculty of Power Engineering; Professor Elman Isgandarov, Dean of the Oil and Gas Production Faculty; Associate Professor Farid Aghayev, Dean of the Information Technology and Control Faculty; Associate Professor Alihikmat Ahmadov, Dean of the Oil Mechanical Faculty; and Associate Professor Ilham Rustamov, Dean of the Economics and Management Faculty (EMF)—as well as Namig Ganjaev, Chairman of the Student Trade Union Committee, also spoke at the meetings. They provided detailed information about their faculties, areas of activity, university centers, special clubs, student mobility programs, and other relevant topics.

The meetings concluded with a Q&A session where students' questions were addressed.
