Students from Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) claimed first place in a Hackathon held in Adana, Turkey. The Hackathon, which received applications from 774,296 teams and 1,569,994 participants from 100 different countries, saw 1,270 finalist teams and 6,514 individual finalists compete.
In the T3 AI Hackathon category of the “Teknofest 2024” competition, the "Spark" team, consisting of ASOIU’s SABAH students Ali Hasanli, Isa Guliyev, Zaman Kazimov, and 682.21E group student Arzuman Abbasov, emerged victorious after a 48-hour challenge. The team developed an AI-supported solution in the "Accessible Life" category, aimed at assisting individuals with attention disorders, dyslexia, and color blindness.
The award ceremony took place from October 2 to 5.
