Two students from Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) - David Aliyev (ITCF) and Yusif Salahli (BA programs) - successfully represented Azerbaijan on the world stage as the IT Innovations team in the Mini Sumo (robot battle) category at "International Robochallenge 2024," one of the world's largest robotics competitions.
The ASOIU students secured third place at the competition held in Romania from November 1-3.
Notably, these students were also winners in the Robochallenge competitions held in 2022 and 2023.
