Delivering a speech at the presentation, ASOIU Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs, Associate Professor Ata Babayev spoke about the significance of the presentation of “Bir” Student-Volunteer Program for young people and encouraged students to take an active part in the program.
Manager of the program Janoghlan Ilyasov provided students comprehensive information on the establishment of “Bir” Student-Volunteer Program, its activities, objectives, advantages, and opportunities offered to the youth. A video presentation of “Bir” Student-Volunteer Program was demonstrated at the event. Then the coordinators of the program at the university shared their experience. The event was continued by entertaining quizzes.
Notably, taking into account the planning of wide-ranging events in the country and the great role of students-volunteers in the organization of these events, “Bir” Student-Volunteer Program was established by the Ministry of Education in order to systemize the volunteer activity, create a single database of students-volunteers and engage students in volunteering.
