On November 14, Azerbaijan's Minister of Science and Education, Emin Amrullayev, met with Angola's Vice President, Esperança da Costa, who was visiting the country as part of the 29th session of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP29). The meeting was held at Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU).
The event was also attended by the Acting Rector of ASOIU, Associate Professor Vazeh Askarov, where discussions focused on further enhancing bilateral cooperation in science and education.
The Angolan delegation toured the university's library, history museum, and various facilities, sharing experiences on the development of educational infrastructure and its alignment with modern standards.
Both parties emphasized that the meeting would pave the way for expanding education and science collaboration between Azerbaijan and Angola and set the stage for mutually beneficial projects in the future.
