On December 9, an info session titled “Developing Research Skills with SCOPUS AI – Artificial Intelligence Tool” was held at Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU).
The session, organized by the State Agency for Science and Higher Education, brought together teachers, students, researchers, and alumni from various scientific and higher education institutions.
ASOIU’s Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs, Professor Latafat Gardashova, welcomed the participants and highlighted the importance of the event and collaboration with scientific metric databases.
During the session, attendees were introduced to Scopus AI, an artificial intelligence-based scientific information search tool. Presentations covered topics such as identifying research trends, conducting comprehensive literature searches, and utilizing AI tools for individual research and information gathering. The advantages of optimizing work processes to save time, preparing summaries, and identifying relevant topics and experts were also discussed in detail.
The session concluded with a Q&A segment addressing participants’ questions.
