On November 4, the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) hosted another training session as part of its ongoing initiatives to enhance the academic capacities of faculty members across different departments. The training, organized by the Internal Quality Assurance Sector Head, Rashad Shikhiyev, and Strategy and Promotion Specialist, Shamil Ahmadov, from the Science and Education Analytics Center, focused on equipping participants with the latest insights into journals indexed by the Scopus database. The session provided updates on impact factors, H-index rankings, and upcoming indexed conferences.

Participants explored strategies for increasing article citation counts, emphasizing the role of carefully selected keywords and trending topics in academic publishing. Furthermore, the training offered hands-on guidance on creating and managing academic profiles on platforms like ResearchGate, Google Scholar, and ORCID. Demonstrations included real-time account setups for selected faculty members to enhance their digital academic presence.
