On December 11, the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) organized an event on innovative projects and startups in collaboration with the Azerbaijan Education Workers‘ Free Trade Union Republican Committee and the university’s Student Trade Union Committee (STUC).

The event began with STUC Chair Namig Ganjayev providing participants with information about the event and encouraging students to take an active role.

Guests included Aygun Bagirova, Senior Specialist from the Azerbaijan Education Workers‘ Free Trade Union Republican Committee; Aygun Aliyeva, Specialist; Aynura Velizade, Project Manager; as well as university staff and students. A presentation on the topic followed.

Held in an interactive format, the event covered topics such as the Azerbaijani ecosystem, steps to creating a startup, personal development, hackathons, successful businesses, and incubation processes. The session concluded with answers to students’ questions.
