From December 10 to 12, the "THE Innovation and Impact" international education summit, organized by Times Higher Education (THE), was held in Delhi, India. The event brought together representatives from 35 countries and nearly 200 participants. Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) was represented by Gunash Ovsatova, Director of the Career Center, and Chingiz Garayev, Specialist for Cooperation with External Partners.

The summit featured various panel discussions addressing innovations in the education system, existing challenges, and opportunities for networking to support the expansion of inter-university relations on a global scale. Topics included "Global Rankings," "The Impact of Rankings on Education Policy," "Academic Excellence and Competition in Global Rankings," "Innovation and Measuring Impact in Higher Education," and "Collaboration for Global Impact: Strengthening Partnerships."

During the summit, the ASOIU delegation held productive meetings with representatives from numerous universities. As a result of these discussions, starting next year, ASOIU plans to establish new partnerships with several international universities, aiming to strengthen its global presence and foster innovative collaborations within the international education landscape.
