Rector of Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) Professor Mustafa Babanli met on October 26 with the delegation headed by Ivan Shtekl, Director of the Institute of Experimental and Applied Physics of the Czech Republic (IEAP).

At the meeting, Rector, Professor M. Babanli informed the guests about the university's history, education process, courses of action, specialties and achievements.

Saying that AzII (ASOIU), which has ancient historical roots, is considered to be the leader among higher education institutions in the field of oil and gas, Rector, Professor M. Babanli spoke about the new cooperation areas.

Later, I. Shtekl provided extensive information on conducted scientific research activities and space innovations. Application of many scientific-technological innovations was discussed. Emphasizing their interest in cooperation with ASOIU, the delegation expressed their satisfaction with visiting the university.

At the end of the meeting, the guests became acquainted with the scientific research process at ASOIU laboratories.
