On February 28, as part of their scientific research visit, Professors Akkenje Busurmanova and Murshida Aimova from Caspian State University of Technologies and Engineering named after Shakhmardan Yesenov (Kazakhstan) met with Associate Professor Rufat Azizov, Rector of Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU).

The meeting was also attended by Sabina Aliyeva, Head of ASOIU’s Internship Division. Discussions focused on strengthening collaboration between the two engineering-focused universities, including joint scientific projects, student and faculty exchange programs, and international academic initiatives.

During their visit, the guests familiarized themselves with ASOIU’s research environment and emphasized the university’s strong scientific potential. They expressed their enthusiasm for cooperation and confidence in the success of joint projects in oil and gas, geology, petrochemical engineering, and other applied sciences.

Rector Rufat Azizov reaffirmed ASOIU’s commitment to expanding partnerships with Kazakh higher education institutions and assured that all necessary support would be provided for productive collaboration.
