On March 4, a roundtable discussion titled "Expanding Cooperation in Higher Education between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan" was held at ADA University.
The event was attended by Sayasat Nurbek, Minister of Science and Higher Education of Kazakhstan, Emin Amrullayev, Minister of Science and Education of Azerbaijan, as well as rectors of leading universities from both countries.
As part of the roundtable, a panel discussion on "Enhancing Academic Cooperation between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan" took place, covering topics such as:"Dual Degree Programs between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan: Effective Implementation and Impact Strategies," "Scientific Cooperation between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan: Promoting Innovation and Global Partnerships," "Enhancing Academic Mobility and Cultural Cooperation."
Following the discussions, a ceremony was held for the signing of 40 memoranda of understanding (MoUs) between 17 universities from both countries.
Within the framework of the roundtable, Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) signed MoUs with seven leading Kazakh universities: L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, Almaty Management University, D. Serikbayev East Kazakhstan Technical University, S. Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University, Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University, Caspian State University of Technologies and Engineering named after Shakhmardan Yesenov, E.A. Buketov Karaganda University.
