Rector of Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) Professor Mustafa Babanli met on November 2 with Director of the Institute of Physics of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS), Academician Nazim Mammadov. The meeting was attended by ASOIU academic staff and employees of the Institute of Physics.

Greeting the attendees, Rector of ASOIU Professor Mustafa Babanli expressed his satisfaction with welcoming Academician Nazim Mammadov and staff members of the Institute of Physics at the university. Stressing that ASOIU has always attached particular importance to scientific activities, Rector, Professor Mustafa Babanli said the to-be-signed contract is of great significance for both sides.

Director of ANAS Institute of Physics, Academician Nazim Mammadov noted that he is happy to cooperate with a prestigious university like AzII (ASOIU) and expressed his belief that the contract will make remarkable contributions to the Azerbaijani science.

Then, ASOIU and ANAS Institute of Physics signed a cooperation contract.

Following the signing ceremony, scientists of ASOIU and ANAS Institute of Physics shared their thoughts on joint cooperation and informed about projects, that may be implemented in the future.
