Rector of Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU), Professor Mustafa Babanli met on November 7 with Ahmed Sami Elaydi, Director of the Egyptian Cultural Center (ECC).

Expressing satisfaction with welcoming the guest at the university, ASOIU Rector, Professor M. Babanli thanked E.S. Elaydi for his commendable activities in our country. Rector, Professor M. Babanli provided the guest with comprehensive information on ASOIU’s history, education process, faculties and international students and emphasized the importance of relations with Egypt. Hailing the development of ties with higher education institutions of Egypt and joint cooperation to attract Egyptian students to ASOIU, Rector, Professor M. Babanli noted his interest in opening ASOIU’s branch in Egypt.

Expressing his gratitude to Rector, Professor M. Babanli for the invitation, E.S. Elaydi said he is ready for any type of cooperation with ASOIU. Interested in strengthening the existing relations and establishing new collaborations, E.S. Elaydi spoke about the significance of attracting the students to the university, giving them certain privileges, as well as conducting mutual exchange of students and academic staff members. E.S. Elaydi said he will inform the Egyptian youth about ASOIU.

At the end of the meeting, the guest presented a memory gift to Rector, Professor M. Babanli.
