On December 1 Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) held an internal “Brain Ring” intellectual contest, organized by the Student Trade Union Committee (STUC). Seven faculties of ASOIU, as well as teams of the Azerbaijani-French University, BBA, ZU and SABAH groups, took part in the intellectual game. The contest was attended by ASOIU Rector, Professor Mustafa Babanli, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Associate Professor Gasim Mammadov, Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs, Associate Professor Ata Babayev, as well as academic staff members and students of the university.

Congratulating the participants, ASOIU Rector, Professor M. Babanli wished them success. After an intensive knowledge battle, BBA and ZU team of ASOIU became the winner of the contest. The Faculty of Oil Mechanical Engineering settled for the second place, the Faculty of Information Technologies and Management - third place and the Faculty of Chemical Technology - fourth place.

In conclusion, the winning teams were given awards and a Cup.
