On December 15 Rector of Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU), Professor Mustafa Babanli met with the Head of the Department of Education Philosophy at M.V. Lomonosov Moscow State University, Candidate of Philosophical Sciences Elena Brizgalina. Head of the Department of Industrial Safety and Labor Security, Professor Sakit Rasulov also attended the meeting.  

Rector of ASOIU, Professor Mustafa Babanli gave the guest information about the history, training process, course of action and achievements of the university. Saying that AzII (ASOIU) was one of the three main universities in the USSR, which trained specialists for foreign countries, M. Babanli noted that the work is underway at the university in order to raise the quality of training, develop the area of science and other fields.

Rector, Prof M. Babanli pointed that ASOIU attaches particular importance to the development of science and added that the number of postgraduate and Ph.D. students has increased by several times in the last two years. The Rector also informed Elena Brizgalina that there was a considerable rise in the number of articles published in Web of Science.

Thanking the rector, Head of the Department of Education Philosophy at MSU Elena Brizgalina said she was pleased to be here and expressed her interest in developing the relations with ASOIU.

During the meeting, the sides agreed to develop the cooperation, realize various joint projects.

In conclusion, ASOIU Rector Mustafa Babanli presented a memorable gift to the guest.
