On February 13 Rector of Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU), Professor Mustafa Babanli met with the members of the university’s Club of the Funny and Resourceful (KVN) team “Azneft” who made a successful performance at the international festival “KiViN-2018” held in Sochi, Russia. The meeting was also attended by ASOIU Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs, Associate Professor Ata Babayev and Chairman of the Student Trade Union Committee Namig Ganjayev.

Congratulating the team “Azneft” on their successful performance, Rector, Prof Mustafa Babanli expressed confidence that they will demonstrate better results during next competitions. Rector M. Babanli said the university has all kinds of conditions to help students spend their leisure time effectively, adding that it always supports talented young people.

Artistic Director of the team “Azneft” Boyukagha Aliyev expressed his gratitude to Rector, Prof Mustafa Babanli and the university administration for their care. Speaking about his team’s achievements for the past two years, B. Aliyev highlighted that the team has won 7 Cups in only 5 games.
