On February 27 Rector of Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU), Professor Mustafa Babanli met with fourth-year students of the Faculty of Oil and Gas Production and their academic supervisors.

ASOIU Rector, Professor Mustafa Babanli provided comprehensive information on the purpose of the meeting, course of the practical internship, rules for writing the diploma thesis.

Addressing the event, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Associate Professor Gasim Mammadov spoke about the practical internship and stressed the importance of participating in the daily internship along with writing a diploma thesis.

Then, senior students of the Faculty of Oil and Gas Production Shamkhal Mammadov and Ali Aliyev were awarded for their successful lectures “Analysis of the effect of different factors on the efficiency of the oil extraction system” and “Development of foundations and base installations” within the project “My lecture”.

Later, Rector, Professor Babanli informed about students’ diploma thesis preparations, its writing rules, anti-plagiarism, scholarship programs and admission to Master’s degree. Rector Babanli said it is important to deeply assimilate the manufacturing process to maximum benefit from the internship. He advised students to attend the Alumni-Career Exhibition organized by the university.

At the end of the event, students received answers to their questions.
