On March 2 Rector of Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU), Professor Mustafa Babanli met with senior students of the Faculty of Information Technologies and Management and their academic supervisors.

Rector, Professor Mustafa Babanli said the purpose of holding the meeting is to discuss the course of the 14-week-long practical internship, as well as the status of diploma theses.

Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Associate Professor Gasim Mammadov provided students and lecturers with general information on practical internship and diploma thesis writing rules.

During the meeting, fourth-year students of the Faculty of Information Technologies and Management Narmina Vazirova and Khayal Abdullayev were awarded for their successful presentation within the project “My lecture”.

Then, Rector, Professor Mustafa Babanli informed students about diploma thesis preparations, admission to Master’s degree, scholarship programs and other issues. Rector Babanli advised students to take diploma theses serious, deeply assimilate the topics and pay special attention to citing.

In the end, students received answers to their questions.
